The most important step in getting into a good medical school is going to the right University.
Immaculata大学’s pre-med minor prepares you to enter medical school. The pre-med minor can be paired with the Bachelor of Science in Biology or Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Students interested in majoring in other areas should work with their advisor to discuss the fulfillment of the Pre-Med minor requirements.
Your faculty advisor will work closely to help you schedule prerequisite courses required by medical school, prepare for the Medical College 招生 Test (MCAT), 然后申请医学院.

As a pre-med concentration at Immaculata大学 you will have hands-on experiences and mentoring from PhD level faculty. You can join our faculty in their research on Protein complex Yaf9, The evolution of nutrient uptake pathways in the human pathogen Candida glabrata; Ecological aspects of Herbivory on Photosynthesis and Plant growth.
Students can also develop their own research project based on their interests and receive mentoring and guidance from one of our faculty. Close interaction between students and faculty is critical to stand out in your medical school application.
Partnership with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – D.O. 程序

Students from Immaculata’s science-related undergraduate programs can apply for the 4+4 D.O. program where they continue their education at PCOM immediately after successful completion of their undergraduate degree. To be selected for a guaranteed interview for the program, students must complete all required coursework, 保持3分.25日平均绩点, and earn a minimum score of a 504 composite and last least a 126 on each section of the Medical College 招生 Test (MCAT) and follow admissions procedures for PCOM.
